A modern woman with many burdens travels back to Bethany in Biblical
times to the home of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. She carries with her a
"Burden Bag" which represents the unseen "bag" we all carry around with
us that's filled with stress, worries, fears, frustrations, unforgiveness,
etc. She listens to the Bethany family discuss Lazarus' death and
resurrection and discovers they dealt with many of the same emotional
issues she's experienced. Then, as the scenes unfold, she watches Jesus
with His followers, who've stopped by the Bethany home on their way to
the Passover. Her journey finally leads her all the way to the cross,
where she surrenders her burdens to Jesus.
